A Feminist Wedding
So I'm pretty lucky That I get to play music for so many fun and amazingly different couples that I'd hang with in real life. They're all quite unique but one thing they all have in common is that they want to dance and have fun to music that tells their story and represents who they are. My couples have new rules they create for their wedding to represent who they are.
When the New York Times interviewed me for this wedding, I wasn't really sure what the slant or the story line was.. but makes sense now being I'm a female DJ. And my couple identifies as being feminist :) Anyway, this wedding was pretty magical. The setting, the vibe, the people and of course, the music to match.
